Save the Monarch Butterflies

Have you ever thought of how enchanting butterflies make the world? They make nature much more beautiful and it is one of the main symbols of spring. I personally went to a butterfly house when I was 8 in Peru and it was absolutely breathtaking. Even though the monarch butterfly is the butterfly we all relate to the most, it is endangered. The majestic creature’s home and food is milkweed but it is torn down by mindless apathetic criminals. We have to do something about it! There has been a 59% decrease of population from 2011-2012 because of a loss of food and extreme weather. The poor little larvae, eggs and pupae dry like an old man in these conditions. We have to help because our children won’t be able to see these stunning animals and it will be our fault. Don’t regret it, make a change. Help, help, help.

  1. Great Post Paula!
WWW: The tense of your article is very persuasive and it would definitely make the reader think. It would force them to do something to help and save the Monarch Butterflies. You used very descriptive words in your article, which I thought was excellent. At the end of your article when you stated, "We have to help because our children won't be able to see these stunning animals and it will be our fault", makes the reader feel guilty knowing that if they don't help and save the monarch butterflies there will be nothing for their children to see and enjoy. Overall, this is a well written article.
EBI: I have no disagreements for your article. :)
